SUMMIT RE ANNOUNCES KEY ADDITION TO ITS EXECUTIVE TEAM.

Ft. Wayne, Indiana, May 4, 2009 Summit Reinsurance Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the newest member of its employer stop loss team, Amy Carlson. Amy brings to Summit Re more than 20 years of knowledge and experience in employer stop loss and health care risk management. She most recently was a senior regional group manager for Symetra Financial.

In her new role as regional vice president - employer stop loss, Amy will work closely with HMOs, TPAs and brokers by providing experienced underwriting and service for employer stop loss groups in the western United States. Amy will be temporarily based out of the Chicago area until her move to Colorado.
